Of all the tricks and tweaks, it is the feeling of turning a snowboard in powder that hooks most riders. The Solo is our modernization of the Sims 1983 FE. We’ve updated the outline and juiced the construction with the technologies of today to offer a ride from the past that is so dang fun it feels like it must be from the future. An off-the-tail, magical float, turn the mountain into a point break experience. This shape changed a lot of people’s lives in the ’80s and depending on what you normally ride the Solo could possibly change your trajectory as well.

Set back Pow Camber starts right after the V-Tail and transitions into an early rise nose from the front contact point. The

MOD 5 core is enhanced with Sims Directional Wave Form. We slightly increase core thickness underfoot for even flex and heightened dampening characteristics, the taller profile also providing increased leverage when rolling the Solo onto edge.

For the Solo we use Liten fiberglass, a smooth-flexing, low chatter matrix that offers excellent torsional rigidity, and finish it with a Premium Racing Base. Smooth, fast, floaty, and inspiring. Every snowboarder should have a deck like the Solo in their quiver.

Surfy and nimble, the Vanish is a tapered, all-mountain free ride board with one direction in mind. A wide, elongated nose, semi-pinned out tail, and a set back stance, make for a powder profile to reduce back leg fatigue and keep you driving off the front when the deep days arrive. The Vanish has a generous side cut that is perfect for navigating through tight trees and is also snappy and playful on the groomers.

The Vanish rides on Sims MOD 5 construction—American light poplar wood with thin bands of beech wood run along the edges for increased edge hold and stability at speed. Sims Directional Wave Form technology advances core construction further by thickening the core under the binding hole patterns, resulting in greater shock absorption, the ideal flex pattern, and quicker edge-to-edge response from the slight increase in leverage. Sims Flexible Thin Tip tech reduces material on the boards ends for less swing weight.

We run a 40mm stringer of eco-friendly I Basalt carbon fiber down the center of the Vanish to reduce chatter and vibration at speed, and seal the envelope with Tri-Tex fiberglass, our most advanced 3D matrix. The Vanish gets you the goods faster with a Premium Racing base.

The NUB is a freerider’s freestyle board and a freestyler’s freerider board. The Long Nose Twin shape and progressive side cut make it look like a directional board, even though it is a twin tip based on the contact points. It rides and lands switch without the twitch of directional shapes. The long nose provides plenty of float in the powder, and the optimum stance puts you in the sweet spot of the traditional camber and side cut. The NUB is the favorite board of team riders John Jackson, Scott Blum, Keegan Valaika, and Shuhei Sato.

MOD 4 construction features a blend of poplar, bamboo and Paulownia wood with thin bands of bamboo wood running along the edges for increased edge hold and stability at speed. Sims Twin Wave Form technology takes core construction one step beyond by thickening the core under the binding hole patterns, resulting in greater shock absorption and quicker edge-to-edge response from the slight increase in leverage.

Shaped to fly. Himeji City resident Tadashi Fuse aired the Pacific and Stonped it in front of snowboarding’s international lens over 20 years ago, inspiring generations of riders around the globe with his Japanese freestyle precision in British Columbia’s heaviest backcountry terrain. The STF is a long-nosed twin tip, designed by Tadashi to float through the deepest days at home in Japan, send it off the biggest step-downs in Whistler’s outback, and smash through pillows wherever they stack.

The STF features Sims MOD 4 core, a blend of poplar, bamboo and Paulownia wood running tip-to-tail with bands of more rigid bamboo on the edges, making the STF stable at speed and one of the most aggressive boards in the Sims line-up. The core profile is enhanced with Sims Twin Wave Form technology. The UAP is inspired by the Sims Shaun Palmer UFO pro-model. The base graphic is identical to the OG UFO, the top sheet graphic an ode to Palmer’s Joker. The UAP is a Long Nose Twin. Tip and tail widths are the same. Surfy off-piste float from the longer nose profile, the powers of traditional camber, and by keeping the tip and tail widths equal, the UAP is able to freestyle in all directions.

The UAP is built on Sims MOD 4 Core, a blend of poplar, bamboo and Paulownia wood enhanced with two parallel bamboo stringers running tip to tail under the hole pattern. The ATVX is a pairing of the legs and body of the ATV with the more voluminous head of the Vanish; our All Terrain Vehicle chassis with a longer, fuller nose outline.

Not so much nose that you can’t go backward though. The All Terrain Vehicle X will walk anywhere like skis, and then, as long as you did it right, turn back into a snowboard. Pretty much magic.

The ATVX has a set back Pow Camber that transitions into an early rise nose above the front contact point. The perfect powder profile for reducing front leg fatigue without losing power.
